Mark graduated from Kansas State University in 2000 with a degree in Golf Course Management and a minor in Business Administration including extensive hours in engineering studies. His strong leadership and relationship building skills have propelled him to rapid advancements in responsibilities in his short business career due to his exceptional record of performance.

 

Mark’s strong construction and project management skills developed at a young age with his involvement in his father’s commercial construction company in Wichita, KS.  After graduation, Mark was hired as the general manager of a small landscape design/build firm where he was instrumental in achieving a 75% increase in sales resulting in the firm’s merger with a larger organization with expanded services and market share. In his role in the new organization as the operations manager, he helped create systems and a structure that positioned the company for an eventual sale to one of the largest commercial landscape companies in the Kansas City metro area.

 

Over the past three years, he has been involved with direct account, project, and construction management in the commercial marketplace managing multiple projects concurrently and profitably.  Mark carries a Class “A” General Contractors License having passed the International Code Council Exam in February of 2007.
